Texas Boys Ranch is “Lubbock’s own” residential childcare organization and is home to 32 children ages 4-18. It is a working ranch located three miles east of the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport. The children live in four cottages with a houseparent couple and up to eight children in each one, creating a loving home environment. The children attend Roosevelt ISD and are involved in many extra-curricular activities.

Through a variety of therapeutic programs and services, our children learn about Jesus, they experience healing from abuse and neglect, and learn life skills. Perhaps most important, they become part of a real, functional, and supportive family. And, as part of that family, they learn what it means to be respected and to have respect for others, to be proud of themselves and their abilities, and to become responsible and productive citizens.
