Behavioral and Mental Health Services

The objective of the Behavioral and Mental Health Services is to provide the optimum in therapeutic care for the children and their families. We employ several licensed professional counselors. Our counselors are trained in using evidence-based Trauma Informed Models such as Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Our counselors help our children to find socially acceptable ways to handle their anger, disappointments, and trials.

Our Behavioral and Mental Health Services are so much more than counseling. We use a variety of different treatment modalities including experiential group therapy, music therapy techniques, therapeutic recreation techniques for both groups and individuals, as well as other pertinent types of therapy. The overall theory is a multi-model therapy. 

We offer professional counseling for the families of our children.  These services include crisis intervention, and family education.  Children's Protective Services provides many of our referrals.
