Ranch Program

Our kids live on a 460-acre working ranch, they are given an opportunity to work, learn about, and care for animals and ranch equipment.  Our Ranch Foreman, Brady Goen, sets up a weekly work schedule for our kids. Individualized goals are used to help track their progress.

Learning responsibility and caring for something such as a small animal is a great asset in pre-independent living skills. Some of our kids participate in stock shows. They get to personally see a return on something they’ve invested time and energy into; it’s a great lesson for our kids.  In addition, children receive payment for their work efforts and keep profits when earned.

The structure and discipline learned from working on such an active ranch is priceless. Our kids learn responsibility through different activities in our ranch program.
